Abstract

This work proposes to explore the pessimistic content that, José Donoso represents in his work El lugar sin límites, the desolate conditions that have always existed in the rural populations of Latin America. It will be addressed by three main planes. Starting with the general plan, whose analysis is developed around the plot in two triggers: the installation of electricity and the adaptation of a road network. The middle level introduces the insistent use of muddy roads and the poor state of the brothel, the protagonist of the story.
