The cultural competence, a key for better health outcomes
Abstract
Anthropology of health, transcultural nursing and other areas of knowledge, have shown evidence of how cultural aspects of individuals, families or communities influence how to interpret, explain, ecognize and care for the health, disease, disability , pain and death. This significantly impacts how people seek and respond to the health services and how they could develop health practice. Cultural Competence in Health (CCH) suggests the skill, knowledge, sensitivity providers and health organizations to understand and respond effectively, effective, safe, consistent and sensitive to the culture of individuals, families and communities.Downloads
