Essence

Abstract

The creative process behind this work is a vision that has been consolidating since my participation as a medical student and my current role as an editorial assistant at MedUNAB journal.

In "Essence," I was not trying to imitate any specific current, and throughout my brief artistic career, I have not identified myself with any particular current either, since my art is versatile and takes shape according to the context I am going through. However, after the final result, this work is likely perfectly framed in surrealism, not only for its composition per se but for its essential background. As in surrealism, this image genuinely represents a dream that surpasses the limits of what was once considered possible.
