Abstract

Dear Editor:

In the healthcare sector, the ethical implications of research and the administration of resources during the health crisis caused by SARS-CoV-2 are particularly important. Research is carried out in order to decipher the biological behavior of the virus that causes the disease and how to combat the infection, amongst other aspects of interest that stem from the imperious need to generate a solid base of evidence. The administration of resources is supported by the knowledge generated with the research, and focused on improving care, intervention, and health management. Reliable information enables decisions to be made on the prevention of infection, healing, and rehabilitation of those who suffer from complications from the disease (1,2).
