Rendimiento de la Implementación en Plataformas Sostenibles de HPC basadas en Post-Moore
Resumen
Las plataformas de Computación de Alto Rendimiento – HPC basadas en arquitecturas post-Moore integran múltiples chips de propósito específico en arquitecturas heterogéneas, centrándose en infraestructuras computacionales embebidas y de bajo consumo – por ejemplo, procesadores con arquitectura RISC – para mejorar la eficiencia energética y reducir los costos. Esta característica nos permite considerar una cierta búsqueda de sostenibilidad computacional. Actualmente, estas plataformas son muy útiles para implementar desde miniclústeres hasta nodos de intercambio Edge/Cloud, ya que presentan una relación adecuada en términos de rendimiento, escalabilidad y sostenibilidad, además de su bajo costo. Este trabajo analiza el rendimiento y la sostenibilidad del despliegue de imágenes de sistemas operativos y aplicaciones en arquitecturas embebidas Post-Moore dirigidas a plataformas HPC sostenibles.
