How to promote district councils with greater citizen participation? A review from the open parliament to the Bogota Council Innovation Lab
Abstract
The Council's laboratory is an innovation in the public and political sphere since it bets on the transformation of the relationship between the corporation and the citizenry, with a proposal focused on citizen participation as the central variable for the opening of institutions. This case study presents the design and implementation of Demolab's citizen participation strategies during 2020 to 2021, as well as its general results and some lessons and recommendations of this experience of public innovation in the city with the objective of contributing to the construction of corporations open to citizens.
